The Honorable Gloria Bahakel

Judge Bahakel, a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (1977) and the Birmingham School of Law (1983), became a circuit judge for the criminal division in November of 1998.  Prior to this, Judge Bahakel served on a part-time basis as a Special Circuit Judge appointed by the Alabama Supreme Court and handled criminal cases.  Judge Bahakel also worked with the firm of Bahakel & Bahakel, and was engaged in the general practice of law.
