The Honorable Robert P. "Bobby"Bynon

Judge Bynon became a district judge in January of 2003.  Judge Bynon has also been appointed by the Presiding Circuit Court Judge to sit as a Circuit Court Judge hearing workers' compensation settlements, real property tax appeals, claims of exemption, and domestic relations matters.  Judge Bynon is a graduate of Walker Junior College (A.S.), the University of Alabama at Birmingham (B.A.), and the Birmingham School of Law (J.D. - 1981).  Judge Bynon was in private practice in the Adamsville-Forestdale area (1983 - 2003) before becoming a judge.  He also served as an attorney for the Police Benevolent Association, a Daily Master for Domestic Relations in the Birmingham Division, and a Municipal Judge for the City of Graysville (1998 - 2003).  Judge Bynon is active in the Birmingham Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
