The Honorable Virginia A. Vinson

Judge Vinson became a circuit court, criminal division judge in January of 2001.  Judge Vinson graduated from Samford University (B.S. - 1974) and the Birmingham School of Law (J.D. - 1980).  She was in private practice with Wilkinson & Vinson before becoming a judge (1981 - 2000).  Judge Vinson is active in the Alabama State Bar, the Birmingham Bar Association, the Women's Section - Board of Directors for the Birmingham Bar Association, and the Inns of Court.
